Edmunds Class of 1958

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

On Saturday evening the crew from Palmetto Photography (Chris, Mike & Kyndal) spent the evening with the Class of 1958 from Edmunds (Sumter High) School during their 50th class reunion held at the Elk’s Lodge. We had a great time and captured a lot of shots which we are turning into a scrapbook for them.

We will share a link to the pictures once we have them up. And later this week will share a preview of their scrapbook with you as well.

Camdyn Cori

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

Camdyn Cori came into this world on August 1, 2008. She weighed in at 8 lbs, 4 oz and was 21 inches long.

On Saturday afternoon she had her first photo shoot with her big sis, Cricket, and mom, Casie, at their home off of Old Camden Highway. Above are a few of my favorites from the session.

Check out the latest addition to Palmetto Photography’s offerings to its clients: Camdyn Cori’s slideshow

Also you can view all of Camdyn’s pictures here.

She thinks my tractor’s …

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

Man I wish that we could share with you some of the images from Mary Margaret’s bridal session.

If you know Mary contact her about the password for her album, otherwise you will have to wait until the first of September to see them here.

It was a fun afternoon despite being very hot and muggy.

I swear Mary had the largest entourage I have ever had a bridal shoot. Needless to say she didn’t have to lift a finger! :)

A little description to make you want to see more … we shot first at Salem Black River Church, where she is getting married (the church dates back to 1759). Then it was off to her relative’s farm to take pictures with a John Deere tractor. And what farm shot would not be complete without the bride in the mist of a planted field. However our last stop offered us lots of bacgrounds/angles. We started outside of her grandfather’s weathered/antique shed and then took pictures by his boat and pond.

Keyword here: Southern charm! Every stop gave us a unique look into Mary’s family and their rich history within Eastern Sumter County.

Check back after Sept. 6 to see the pictures … later gators! :)

BLOGS: I have said this time and time again, I hate blogging!

I have started several times, but between just plain forgetting and a busy schedule it doesn’t get updated regularly and collected dust. I somehow or another end up coming back to it as I am doing at this very moment, why I don’t know. Mainly I guess because I don’t want us to be the only one left off the “blogging” bandwagon. So I’ll give if another try (I’ve lost count of how many times I have said that before), but here we go ‘yet again’ … wish me luck!

Sloppy!?!

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008

New program and some new borders. Here is a portion of a collage that I am working on for the Rogers family. I used one of my new borders called, Sloppy borders, and I think that it gives it a nice touch and something different.
